Arrowhead Warhawk Manufacturing Program partners with The Valerie Wedding & Event Venue to Craft One-of-a-Kind Architectural Feature.
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of a unique collaborative project between Arrowhead Warhawk Manufacturing Program and The Valerie Wedding & Event Venue. This partnership has brought to life an elegant and one-of-a-kind accent wall that serves as the stunning centerpiece of the newly established venue, which officially opened its doors in June 2024.
The vision for this unique architectural feature was conceived by Jenni Miller, co-owner of The Valerie, who faced significant challenges in bringing her concept to life. After exploring various ideas with her general contractor without success, Miller discovered the Arrowhead Warhawk Manufacturing Program through a presentation by Anthony Christian and Jeff Luetschwager at a school board meeting.
Eager to assist, the Warhawk’s manufacturing team, comprised of skilled engineering students and equipped with top-tier manufacturing technology, quickly took on the challenge. “The enthusiasm and expertise of the students were evident from the start. They were not only excited about the project but also ready to apply their skills in a real-world setting,” said Miller.
In addition to the accent wall, the program produced custom signage for The Valerie, further enhancing the venue’s aesthetic and guest experience. This partnership allowed students to engage directly with businesses and learn firsthand about manufacturing and business operations, from collaboration and installation to financial quotations and client interactions.
We invite everyone to visit The Valerie Wedding & Event Venue to see the stunning results of this collaboration. Stay tuned for more updates on future projects and partnerships!
All profits from the program are invested back into student scholarships, making this collaboration a beneficial endeavor for all parties involved. “This project not only provides our students with invaluable practical experience but also supports their educational journeys through scholarships funded by the proceeds,” added Christian, founder of Warhawk Manufacturing at Arrowhead High School. Warhawk Manufacturing and The Valerie are proud to contribute to the community and look forward to unveiling the completed project, which promises to be a stunning addition to The Valerie Wedding & Event Venue.
About Arrowhead Warhawk Manufacturing Program
Warhawk Manufacturing is a capstone manufacturing course that operates a student-run business at Arrowhead Union High School. Since 2019, instructors Anthony Christian and Jeff Luetschwager have challenged students to apply skills in engineering, manufacturing, and business through this unique class. Each year partnerships and business opportunities are formed that create learning opportunities through website sales and custom orders for the community and local businesses. The students do all the work, from taking orders, customer service, design, engineering, manufacturing, quality control, delivery, accounting, marketing and more. Manufacturing scholarships are rewarded to the students at the end of the year for them to use for tuition, books, tools, etc. This unique class gives students a real in-house work experience into what it takes to run and operate a small business.
